1. PARTIES
This Referral Policy (the "Policy") is an agreement between Lobox and any User who participates in the Lobox Referral Program, whether as a Referrer, a Referred Person, or a Recruiter whose job receives referrals. By accessing or using the Referral Program, you accept this Policy in addition to the Terms of Use Agreement, the Privacy Policy, and the Community Policies. If you do not agree with this Policy, you must not participate in the Referral Program.
2. DEFINITIONS
2.1 Lobox: The platform and services operated by Lobox, as defined in the User Agreement.
2.2 Referral Program (also "Refer & Earn"): The feature of the Services that allows eligible Users to refer other people to open job opportunities and to earn Rewards for successful referrals.
2.3 Referrer: A User who refers one or more people to a job through the Referral Program.
2.4 Referred Person: A person who is referred by a Referrer to a job opportunity, whether or not they subsequently apply.
2.5 Recruiter: The User or company that posts a job and receives referrals for it. The Recruiter does not hand out Rewards at its own discretion; Rewards are earned by Referrers under this Policy.
2.6 Referral: The act of connecting a Referred Person to a specific job through the Referral Program, including any referral link created for that purpose and any details the Referrer provides about the Referred Person.
2.7 Referral Details: The information a Referrer submits about a Referred Person, including the nature of their relationship, how closely and in what context they have worked together, the Referrer's level of confidence in the referral, any written description, and any supporting attachments.
2.8 Reward: The compensation, expressed in Tokens, that the Referrer earns for a Successful Referral. The Reward belongs to the Referrer and to no one else.
2.9 Tokens: The platform's internal unit of value. One (1) Token corresponds to one (1) United States Dollar (USD). Tokens earned through the Referral Program can be converted into money and withdrawn in accordance with this Policy and the withdrawal terms of the Services.
2.10 Successful Referral: A Referral in which the Referred Person applies to the job using the Referral and is subsequently hired, as confirmed by the Recruiter through the Services.
3. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCESS
Participation in the Referral Program is a privilege, not a right. To access the Referral Program, a User must:
(a) maintain a completed Lobox profile; (b) have successfully completed identity verification, with a status of approved; (c) meet the Minimum Age requirement and all other conditions of the User Agreement; and (d) be in good standing, with no active restrictions, suspensions, or unresolved violations of Lobox policies.
Lobox may verify eligibility at any time and may withhold, suspend, or revoke access to the Referral Program if any of these conditions is no longer met.
4. HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS
A Referrer selects one job at a time and creates a Referral for that job. The Referrer may refer people from their network to that job; each Referred Person is notified that they have been referred. If the Referred Person applies using the Referral and is hired, the Referral becomes a Successful Referral, and the Referrer earns a Reward in Tokens for that hire. The Referrer is notified when a Referred Person applies, when a Referred Person is selected, and when a Reward is credited.
5. WHO RECEIVES THE REWARD
The Reward always belongs to the Referrer - the person who made the referral. If you refer a person and that person is hired for the job, you, as the Referrer, receive the Reward. Recruiters and companies do not hand out prizes at their own discretion, and neither the Referred Person, the Recruiter, nor any other party has a claim to the Reward. No hire, no Reward.
6. FAIRNESS OF HIRING DECISIONS
Hiring decisions are made solely by the company that posts the job. That company is responsible for the fairness, legality, and non-discrimination of its selection process, including how it evaluates referred candidates. Lobox does not make hiring decisions and does not influence who is selected.
7. REFERRAL RULES
7.1 Daily referral limits. The number of referrals a Referrer may send is limited per day. The current limit is fifty (50) people per day, and only people with a completed profile may be referred. Lobox may change these limits at any time to protect the integrity of the program; attempting to bypass a limit in any way is a violation of this Policy.
7.2 Honesty clause. Referring is an important and sensitive action: Recruiters rely on Referral Details to make hiring decisions. All Referral Details - including the stated relationship, how closely you have worked with the Referred Person, the context of that work, your level of confidence, your written description, and any attachments - must be truthful, accurate, and based on your genuine knowledge of the Referred Person.
7.3 Relevance clause. You should refer only people you reasonably believe fit the opportunity. Mass, indiscriminate, or irrelevant referrals degrade the program for everyone and may be treated as abuse.
7.4 Respect for the Referred Person. You must not refer a person against their expressed wishes, use referrals to harass or spam anyone, or misrepresent to the Referred Person what the referral is or what it entails.
7.5 Supporting documents. Attachments to Referral Details must be files you have the right to share, in the accepted formats and size limits shown in the Services, and must not contain content that violates the Community Policies or the rights of any third party.
8. FRAUD, CHEATING, AND ABUSE
The value of the Referral Program depends on its integrity. The following are strictly prohibited, and Lobox treats each of them as a material violation of this Policy:
8.1 Self-referral and fake identities. Referring yourself through another account, creating or using fake, duplicate, or purchased accounts to act as Referrer or Referred Person, or misrepresenting your identity or the identity of a Referred Person.
8.2 Rigging outcomes. Cheating or defrauding the selection process to make a particular candidate the "winner" of a job - including bribing, pressuring, colluding with, or deceiving a Recruiter or any other party in order to force or simulate a hire - is strictly prohibited. A hire obtained this way is not a Successful Referral, and all related Rewards are void.
8.3 Fabricated referrals. Inventing or exaggerating a relationship, work history, proximity, or context with a Referred Person; submitting forged, altered, or misleading documents; or stating a level of confidence you do not genuinely hold.
8.4 Collusion and referral rings. Coordinating with candidates, Recruiters, or other Referrers to simulate Successful Referrals, split or kick back Rewards, exchange referrals as a quid pro quo without genuine knowledge of the people referred, or otherwise manufacture outcomes for the purpose of earning Rewards.
8.5 Manipulation of the process. Using automation, bots, scripts, or scraping to create referrals; circumventing daily limits, eligibility checks, or identity verification; interfering with notifications or application flows; or exploiting any error or vulnerability in the Services instead of reporting it.
8.6 Deception of any party. Misleading a Recruiter about a Referred Person, misleading a Referred Person about a job, or misleading Lobox in connection with any part of the program.
Lobox monitors the Referral Program for fraudulent and abusive behavior and may investigate any Referral at its discretion. Where Lobox determines, acting reasonably, that this section has been violated, it may take any or all of the following measures, without prior notice and without compensation: (a) cancellation of pending Referrals; (b) forfeiture and clawback of Rewards and Tokens obtained through the violation, including amounts already credited or withdrawn; (c) temporary or permanent removal from the Referral Program; (d) restriction, suspension, or termination of the User's account under the User Agreement; and (e) where the conduct may be unlawful, referral of the matter to competent authorities. Recruiters who participate in fraudulent schemes are subject to the same measures.
9. REWARDS, TOKENS, AND WITHDRAWALS
9.1 Hired-only rule. A Reward is due only for a Successful Referral - that is, only when the Referred Person is actually hired for the job. Referrals that lead to applications, interviews, or shortlisting but not to a hire earn no Reward and no money.
9.2 Token value and conversion. Rewards are paid in Tokens to the Referrer once the hire is confirmed through the Services. One (1) Token corresponds to one (1) United States Dollar (USD). Tokens you earn through the Referral Program can be converted into money.
9.3 Withdrawals. You can withdraw the money corresponding to your earned Tokens. Withdrawals are processed in accordance with the payment and withdrawal terms of the Services, and you are notified when a withdrawal from the Referral Program has been processed. Lobox may withhold or delay Rewards and withdrawals while a Referral is under review for compliance with this Policy.
9.4 No guarantee. Lobox does not guarantee that any Referral will result in an application, a hire, or a Reward, and does not itself owe Rewards for referrals unless expressly stated otherwise in the Services. Reward amounts are set within the Services and may differ per job and per Recruiter. You are solely responsible for any taxes, duties, or reporting obligations arising from Rewards you receive.
10. DATA AND PRIVACY
Referral Details you submit about a Referred Person are shared with the relevant Recruiter for the purpose of evaluating the application, and are processed in accordance with the Lobox Privacy Policy. By submitting Referral Details you confirm that you are entitled to share that information. Referred Persons are informed that they have been referred and by whom. Do not include in Referral Details any sensitive personal information that is not necessary for the referral.
11. CHANGES, SUSPENSION, AND TERMINATION OF THE PROGRAM
The Referral Program is provided at Lobox's discretion. Lobox may modify, suspend, or discontinue the program, its eligibility conditions, its limits, or its Reward mechanics at any time. Material changes to this Policy will be published in the same manner as Lobox's other legal documents; continued participation after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. Rewards duly earned for Successful Referrals completed before a discontinuation remain payable in accordance with the withdrawal terms, except where forfeited under this Policy.
12. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY AND WARRANTY
12.1 No Warranty. The Referral Program is provided "as is" and "as available." Lobox makes no warranty that referrals will be seen, acted upon, or result in hires or Rewards, nor that the program will be uninterrupted or error-free.
12.2 No Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lobox is not liable for hiring decisions made by Recruiters, for the conduct of Referrers or Referred Persons, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from participation in the Referral Program.
12.3 Exceptions. Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
13. RELATION TO OTHER AGREEMENTS
This Policy supplements, and must be read together with, the User Agreement, the Privacy Policy, the Community Policies, and, where applicable, the User Agreement for Business and the Subscription Agreement. In the event of a conflict concerning the Referral Program, this Policy prevails; in all other respects, those documents prevail.
